Moving to Germany: T-5 Days – I Don’t Believe in Goodbyes

The last three days have been craaaaaaaaaaaaaazy….

I have been starting my rounds and seeing everyone so that I can tell them…..well, not goodbye.  I don’t believe in goodbyes.

I think I have been fortunate in my life that I am used to the long distance amongst family and friends alike.  I am extremely close to my cousins in Peru and yet it has been almost five years since I have seen any of them.  I plan on coming back to the states a lot more often than that.

So the last few days has been more of a “I will be seeing you again.”

Here are pictures from Days 1 and 3.  I regret not getting pictures from Day 2 but I was too busy drinking and enjoying time with my siblings.

Day 2 can be summed up by a little conversation I had with my nephew Kaleb:

K: How many glasses of wine have you had, Aunt Marisa?”

M: (leaning in) “At this point, I’ve lost count.”

It has been a very busy few days but as always it is a pleasure to spend time with my family and friends.  I love them all dearly and I will be seeing them all soon!
