A (Somewhat) Big Reveal….

Ok!  Just so you know there is still quite a bit to do in our new home, but we have made progress…..so let’s see if my internet will allow me to post photos:

Our living room (the tv stand has more pieces that weren't put together yet)

It doesn’t look like Thorsten has any clothes but only because he had enough for the week and I brought a suitcase with the intention of finally finding a place for my stuff! w00t!

We stopped working by Friday so we could at least relax before hitting the ground running today.  On Saturday, Thorsten’s family came to see the new place and they approved (Thank God!).  We all took a nice walk along the lake to downtown Überlingen (which is a whopping ten minutes) to the promenade to find a nice restaurant to eat outside.  Then we got ice cream (of course, Abner got some, too) and then we hitched a ride on a boat on Lake Constance to get a gorgeous view and chill.

It was a gorgeous day.  It’s been a great weekend.  On Sunday, we did nothing (well….I did this post and a lot of Beta reading), but there was a lot of snacking and tv watching.

There may have also been some cat video watching.

Oh, and I must give a quick shout out to my sister, Samantha! She got married on Saturday and I couldn’t be there physically.  But I was totally there in spirit! She hitched herself to a great guy who treats her with the love and respect I feel she deserves! So yay!

Look at that smile!! Isn't she glowing!!!! Thanks Facebook (and Sam for posting this) so that I could see it! I will be seeing you guys in November! <3
