Where to Find a Good Burger in Germany….

So we interupt this regularly scheduled post in order to mourn the loss of my beloved Kindle…

You see it's been taken apart and yet still on.....this reminds me of my furby

But never fear, my dear readers! I bought a new one so I will be able to continue reading Diana Gabaldon’s “Outlander.”

Look so pretty and shiny!

Anyway, shortly I had bought my new toy, I met with some old friends at a local restaurant.  They were the Germans who were working in Chicago when I started.  You may remember from an earlier post that we get together from time to time.

So today we decided to go to a local burger joint: Rigg’s.

Of course I have to mention this gem. This is my boss, Tabea. Without her, I wouldn't have this job so of course I have to give credit where credit is due :-) She is simply awesome

Yes, good times!

How was the food? Well….

nom nom nom!
nom nom nom!

The picture honestly does not do it justice.  It was actually quite large so I had to cut it in half and good lord was it gorgeous.  For any Americans in the region, this is definitely the place to go for a good burger.

As always, I enjoyed my time with my old Chicago friends.  I am glad that we still keep in touch and that while we are no longer in the same building, we put in the effort to maintain the bonds we formed in Chicago.
