Abner and the Flower Island

A few weeks ago while T’s family was visiting, we went to Insel Mainau – also known as the Flower Island.

In 1853, it was purchased by Duke Friedrick the I of Baden. It remained privately owned until 1974 when the owning family (the Bernadottes) transferred it to a foundation.

I took lots of photos of flowers, but we all know why you are really here: you want to see photos of Abner.

I loved it.  It was killer on my allergies, but it was such a stunning time. And now for photos of Abner:

Seriously, our baby is a model! Tun in next week where you find out about our adventures in the Butterfly House.

Bis naechste Woch!
