Holy crap it has been awhile since I have made an Abnerlicious post. I meant to post something last week for Abner’s 9th birthday but we got distracted with his cuteness and so nothing was posted. But here we are this week!

The last time I posted an Adventures of Abner post was back in 2015 shortly after T and I got married….the first time. But of course there have been plenty of Abnerlicious adventures since….just not accumulated into one awesome post!

Since that fateful day in 2015,  Abner has had a whirlwind of adventures and there are music videos to boot! Granted, I haven’t made one in a while, but I have enough footage for a few more….I just have to find time GAH!!!! So much to do – so little time! But in case you want to know exactly what our favorite pug has been up do:

We took him sledding

We took him to his first reggae festival!

Abner got to hike the Swiss Alps!

We also did some hiking around a glacial valley and the hills outside of Überlingen!

But Abner has also been helping me out with an upcoming and new endeavor….books!

I know I may have mentioned it here and there over the years, but in case you weren’t aware. I have been writing a novel. I have written and rewritten and rewritten some form of this story since I was thirteen.  Just as I have grown up – so hve both the stories and my characters. I think I am finally in a place where I have a proper story to tell outside of my group of imaginary friends.

But if you want to be successful – you have to do the opposite of what writers want to do: talk to people! Engage! SOCIAL MEDIA!!!!!

So besides regaling you guys with the adventures of both Abner and I – I will also regale my upcoming attempt at getting published. Is the book ready yet – hell no, it’s still in the beta stages – but now is the time to start talking about it!

Abner will be helping out (he’s just such a good model!)
