Last weekend, I went to Stockholm, Sweden to reunited with my bestie/college roommate/heterosexual life partner (the latter simply meaning that we are so close it’s like we’re in a relationship…..despite the fact that we’re straight). It was such a great time! I haven’t seen her since my church wedding back in 2016.

In case you are wondering why we haven’t seen each other in a hot minute. It mainly has to do with the fact that not only do I live in Germany, but she lives in Shanghai 😀 Of the whole Fellowship – we are the ones who REALLY moved far from home. Even though our parents literally live five minutes from each other – we are rarely in the States at the same time (which is the only other way aside from actually visiting each other that we can reunite).

Kirsty just happened to be vacationing in Sweden as well as hanging out with her brother’s in-laws.

Random side story – Kirsty’s brother, John, is a minor celebrity in Sweden when he won the 4th season of the reality show Allt för Sverige! He met his wife there and I also got to meet her during my trip to Stockholm! She. Is. Amazing!
